Contract Change – Prepay Mobile Broadband Service – effective from 15th May 2017

The purpose of this notice is to re-issue the changes that you were informed of in early March changing the effective date from April 3rd to May 15th, 2017.

Reminder of the Prepay Mobile Broadband Service Changes:

 

·      The period of the 30 day Mobile Broadband add-on will reduce from 30 days to 28 days.

·      Base / out of bundle rates for data usage in the Republic of Ireland will increase from 2.03c per MB to 6.15c per MB.

·      Base / out of bundle rates for data usage while roaming in the EU will decrease from 24.6c per MB to 6.15c per MB.

·      There will be no change to the price of the 1 day, 7 day or the 30 day (28 day from 15th May) add-on.

·      Change to the period of the 30 day add-on (from 30 days to 28 days) takes effect on your first add-on purchase after 15th May and base /out of bundle rate changes take effect from 15th May and as illustrated below.

What do I need to do if I want to cancel?

If you do not accept these changes you have the right to cancel your service within 30 days of this notice without penalty. You can do so by contacting us before 4th May, 2017 on one of the following channels:

·       Calling us on 1800 818 021

·       Write to us at Three Customer Care, McLaughlin Road, National Tech Park, Plassey, Limerick with relevant details.

 

 

Continued usage of services after 4th May 2017 is deemed to constitute acceptance of the change.

 

Under Regulation 14 of the European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks and Services) (Universal Service and Users' rights) Regulations 2011 an operator shall, not less than one month prior to the date of implementation of any proposed modification, notify its subscribers to that service of the proposed modification in the conditions of the contract for that service, and their right to withdraw without penalty from such contract if they do not accept the modification.
